Dialogue
2020
The objects are called ''Dialogue''. Clay pieces joined together by freehand with focus on how and where to join the next piece of clay. They are sculptural objects, in a wavy pattern shape without any prior destination. My perspective was to create objects where the viewer senses the underlying intimacy in the making, the honesty, and authenticity of the process, of a genuine dialogue between the clay and I. They are also three dimensional bodies interacting. An embodiment of feelings of respect, cohesion, unbiased and candid. My emotional hopes become bodies of work embracing the dialogue of fair-mindedness.

The Wheel
2019
The wheel as a symbol of existence and life goes way back in history. I too, had a great desire to make my own version. A broken wheel is NOT the end of your life! But please conceive it as you like. We all encounter bumps on the road of life. The obstacles we meet either break us down or build us up. I admire and find great inspiration from people who no matter how difficult their life seems find a positive way of living.
Care Neckpiece
2007
We generally lead much too stressed lives, which I think makes us sick! I made the necklaces CARE large and fragile to demand the wearer to slow down and show care and closeness - to the jewelry and yourself! If pieces fall off the necklace you stress too much! The CARE necklaces are pieces of jewelry that shall remind us that we should spend more energy and time on closeness and care. The interaction I get from using a unique clay that to some point relates to the old Danish Jydepotter and by using a shape expression of a clear and direct man-made working method I interpret as signals about our fragile need in life for caring.
